Two suspects arrested in killing: Police have arrested two suspects in the Tuesday shooting death of a 20-year-old San Pablo man and are looking for others, according to the police department.

The shooting took place Tuesday at 4:57 p.m. at Davis Park, 1651 Folsom Ave.

Witnesses told police that a man with two handguns shot the victim in the head and ran through a creek toward Rumrill Boulevard from the park.

Police did not name the victim, who is believed to be homeless, because his family had not been contacted, San Pablo police Sgt. Scott Cook said.

He was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where he died Wednesday.

The two suspects, a man and a woman, were arrested around 2 a.m. Thursday in connection with the shooting, Cook said.

Richmond

Man no longer suspected in double shooting: A man arrested late Tuesday in connection with a fatal shooting a couple of hours earlier has been released from custody and is no longer a suspect in the case.

Richmond police Sgt. Louie Tirona said police were not releasing the man's name.

Residents in the 500 block of Maine Avenue reported shots fired around 8 p.m. Responding officers found Brian McElroy, 33, of Antioch, slumped over inside a green Ford Taurus

stopped in the middle of the street, police said.

Another victim, 18-year-old Landon Savage of Richmond, was found nearby on South Sixth Street with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. He remains at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.
