Epiphyllum in bloom Carolyn Miraglio

ORCHID CACTUS IN BLOOM: Carolyn Miraglio of Brentwood has been nurturing this Epiphyllum (orchid cactus) for more than 10 years, and has given cuttings to friends and neighbors. The plant prefers sharply draining soil, indappled or partial shade. It thrives with little water, and potbound plants will produce glorious blooms in the spring. For more information on the Epiphyllum and Epicacti, see Ruth Bancroft's column, Ruth's Tips. If you have something special to share, send it to the Times, Home & Garden, P.O.
